Shiki episode 9 review

Aya, couldn't resist at all, I watch straight Shiki, from the first episode to the ninth. At first, I thought it was a higurashi-like. But it is not. This is not a chinese puzzle, this anime is pretty good, I like the feeling during each episodes. Very intense for me, chilling in the idea because I'm trying to be at their place. I don't think Higurashi can be like that, because they're too surnatural (or too hardcore ^^'). Shiki is slowing turning from a slice of life (a slice of life ...just for 15 minutes from the first episode XD) to a mystery, to surnaturel, to horror. But still... we're in the "real world", others keep their human attitude, not turning into absurd (Higurashi gone wild !!! Wryyy).

The design is a little bit original, but ... it's not moe at all I'm sure ! Sometimes it's kinda creepy, I'm a little bit scared of those "full dark red eye" of those Kanemasa people. Especially Sunako. I never feel at ease while watching her. Also, I'm not a big fan of sharp chin, but just need to be used to it, that's all. And ... definitely becoming a fan of red eye, because here, they showed fear, horror .. huhuhu. It's eye of a predator ! not for bling bling ^^

The anime quality is pretty good, nice atmosphere playing with colors and background songs. Speaking of songs, the opening and ending are really nice ! Opening by Buck-Tick "Kuchizuke" is nice ! Ending is "Walk no Yakusoku" by nangi. And the effect played (like grey screen or light effect)  put red eye and gloomy atmosphere forward *shivering*.

Kuroshitsuji Season II episode 9

First of all lets celebrate the come back of that blog *claps*!

I am not a Japanese speaker, thats why I will write down my first impressions on teh RAW episode and then the one to the subbed one.

Arakawa under the bridge - First impression

I intend to watch it since the beginning ... since I read the plot summary.
Here it is --

Ichinomiya Kou has always lived according to the creed of his wealthy, successful family: never be in debt to anyone. But one day, under the Arakawa Bridge, his life is saved by a homeless girl named Nino. In order to pay her back, Kou promises to be her boyfriend; and thus begins his new life under the bridge.

Oh well, I thought : "It's SHAFT, so it's surely something good." However I need to confirm it by reading the plot. No doubt ! after reading it, I said "interesting ! .. this plot can turn into something great and unbelievable (laugh)". I judged the main character could be really special, by his "never be undebted" attitude and the situation he is.
 

First Impression ---

I don't have enough time to do separate post for all those new animes. So I gather them in one, so I have an easier life :)

I didn't see all of them at the moment, I miss Sora no Otoshimono (people said it's funny like hell), Letter Bee (I can't find time to watch it ...), Nogizaka ...etc. But I watch anime in my pace so you will maybe see Letter Bee this week-end since I have some good hope in this serie. For the moment I have some good feeling about this fall, maybe I expect too much from Book of Bantorra but seems I forgot the newbie studio who are doing it... but we can forgive them since they're new.

Just finished Asura Cryin' II, just notice the drop quality on the design in this episode, I wasn't really in this episode, a bad one in my opinion but I'm still "suspicious" about the Burial doll and Kagakari's objective. So I keep it but I won't stream it.

For the moment, I have my no-viewing list : Inuyasha my reason...I don't follow it so no need to see the end without knowing what happened before and I'm not fan. Natsu no Arashi because I haven't watch the first season. Nogizaka ..I watch when the show end. This is all I have for the moment. I intend to keep Railgun but thanks to my bro I ended watching it -_-

I won't stream it since it's a popular anime ...and I didn't intend to watch it now but since my brother keep telling me it's good I ended watching it lol.

I will watch it with my pace, so I'll put sometimes seldom post on Railgun ... ^^ well let's enjoy the Review !

Kampfer Review first episode

First, a little summary for everyone who didn't have a clue about this anime.

Kampfer

Genres: action, comedy, magic
Themes: ecchi, gender switch, magic, magical girl, school life
Plot Summary: Senou Natsuru is your normal, everyday high school student. However he´s been chosen to be a Kampfer, who´s objective consists on fighting other Kampfer with either guns, swords or magic, however, there´s catch; first you can´t chose if you´re a Kampfer or not, and second, you must have the body of a girl to use your powers.

I was impatient to see this in anime, but I didn't expect such a moe-ecchi side in the anime. Well it's not bad, but I think it's too much ...maybe it's me (after the fan service Princess LoveR... XD) but it's limit but it doesn't turn into a fan service anime so it's okay.

First Impression here :::

Ah ! finally a disaster occurs .. well I shouldn't say "finally".

This is awesome how this is, it's like a disaster film. They choose some contrast in color, dull colors for the environment and some colorful one for the main characters.

Let's continue, a big earthquake occurs in the city of Tokyo. We learned it's a earthquake of 8.0 on the richter scale (I think the maximum in reality is around 7.5 no ?). It's really ... dangerous ! just watch the building cracked and the bridge cut in 2. But it show also that japanese building are tough against natural disaster. Well we know in Japan, natural disaster is nearly something in everyday life (oh ..maybe I'm exagerating :P) ... typhoon, earthquake, tsunami ... It's a lot. I think most of the people know that soon or later ...The Japan will disappear under the sea.

This anime can show some important gesture/move during a natural disaster and that's important.

Back at our anime, Mirai is searching Yuuki, she is in despair ..totally ! And a woman came to help her ... and I stop here ! ^^ watch the anime if you want to know what and how they will save him. Oh It's not a spoiler, we all know that Yuuki is alive ..just look the ED.

I'm still in "wait mode" ..I didn't see something exceptionnal but I'm getting more interested. What I wait the most is above all a change in Mirai's behaviour !! I want to see a new Mirai, not the one irritating from the first episode !

I'll continue but it's not one of my priority.

This is one of the anime I wish to watch !

Talking about the qualities : As I expected from Bones, the animation is great ! The design is normal, nothing good nothing bad, but this type of chara-design is the one to show us multi-face expression so I know why they choose it ^^ ..well nothing new here.

The anime is not white&black, it's a bit colorful ...but you can see this is a dramatic-disaster anime just by watching the good OP and ED. Specially the OP which is just a travelling of picture that schocked me a bit.

The defaults : ah !!! I will jump immediatly on the heroine !! Too irritating ! I can't bear to see this behaviour ! ..Raaahh !! It's been a long time I'm never be irritated by a hero. ...well another default ..for the moment nothing.

Well ...this episode is more a prologue ... "the calm before the storm" we can say ..and I think it's exact.

I just watched the OP and the ED before watching the full episode.

The OP is ~relaxing~ and the ED is pretty and It's even moving my heart 'just a little)

The rythm of the anime is ... peace ... not slow but I don't like sometimes how they linked some sequences ...well It's just a secondary detail.

The first episode introduce Marin and Urin, two maidens who found a beautifil Rings coming from our world they called "Sky". I can notice Maiden can't go in the human world without a special bracelet.

So they land on the human world ..during a festival (yay Matsuri !!) and [...] (I decided to shorten my story ^^) they meet the owner of the ring named Kanon. I let you discover why she threw this ring ...and why she threw it again ! XD

But Marin really wants to give the ring back to Kanon, so Marin and Urin continue to search. But ... something happen !!!!! *tadaa !!*

The serie plot will now be reveal ..in the next episode .. *grr* I feel frustration, but a positive one ! I want to see the second episode !! To know what will happen.

So to conclude ;

Chara-design : nothing to say, great job !

Story : ...still mysterious ...

Acting voices : not bad but I'm not convinced by Kanon's voice

General : 7/10 ... It still mysterious but I feel I want to continue this serie :)
